It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Ann De Jager (nee Thompson) at the Raymond Health Centre on May 17, 2018 at the age of 76 years.
Born in Portsmouth England on May 2, 1942 to a Canadian soldier and his English bride, Shirley and her twin brother came to Canada at the end of WWII. Shirley was well known for her wit and outspokenness as for her love of animals and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
As per Shirley’s request, a private ceremony will be held at a future date.
