Passed away in Lethbridge on Saturday, September 26, 2009, ADRIENNE ANN DAY at the age of 64 years, beloved sister of Janice (Grant) Hopp of Lethbridge and Joan Peters of Chilliwack, BC.

Born on December 3, 1944, Adrienne was raised in Lethbridge. She attended the University of Alberta where she received her Degree in Physiotherapy. Adrienne worked as a Physiotherapist in Victoria and Penticton, BC as well as Oakville, Ontario before returning to Lethbridge. She was employed with the Lethbridge Auxiliary Hospital and Lethbridge Home Care Programs for over 25 years before her retirement.

Adrienne was an avid gardener and spent hours tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She was especially fond of her beautiful begonias. She enjoyed reading, sewing, walking, and bicycle rides. Adrienne loved playing Bridge and traveling with her very special friends. Always a kind, positive, and generous spirit, she will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Besides her loving sisters, Janice and Joan, Adrienne is survived by her brother-in-law, Grant Hopp, as well as two nieces; Beverly Hopp and Dianne (Richard) Kurina of Lethbridge.

She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Doris (Frayne) Day, her brother-in-law, Mike Peters and a number of aunts and uncles.

No funeral service by request. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
