JEANNE DANYLUK-VUCUREVICH, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009 after a lengthy illness at St. Michael's Health Care Centre at the age of 63 years.

Jeanne is survived by her children Dean (Juanita) and Dr. Angie (Julien) Danyluk.

Jeanne will be sadly missed by her brothers Walt (Janice) Vucurevich, Bill (Janet) Vucurevich, John (Sophie) Vucurevich, and sisters-in-law Valerie Vucurevich and Faye (Don) Hamilton. Jeanne is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was born in Raymond, Alberta on December 2, 1945 to Steve and Helen Vucurevich, and later grew up on the family farm in the Sunnyside area with her 5 brothers. Jeanne attended Hardieville, Sunnyside and Kate Andrews High School. She then went on to attend the University of Calgary and the University of Lethbridge where she obtained her Bachelor of Education.

Jeanne married Steve Danyluk in 1968, raised her family in Lethbridge and taught in the Lethbridge School District for several years.

Jeanne was an avid reader, and she also enjoyed 5 pin bowling, camping, and was a volunteer with several organizations within the community. She was also an active member of her church.

Jeanne was predeceased by her mother and father Helen and Steve, and brothers Mark and Nicholas Vucurevich.

A Private Family Service will be held, with Dr. Bill Calderwood officiating. Interment will take place in the Mountain View Cemetery.
