GLADYS CURRIE of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Frank Currie, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 14, 2010 at the age of 84 years.

Gladys was born on April 4, 1926 in Coalhurst, Alberta to Alexander and Helen Tymchuk. Her greatest joys in life was having the house filled with family, good times spent at the cabin at St. Mary's and in Mexico with her best friend Con Barrett (deceased), and enjoyed beautiful flowers, and of course those games of chance.

Gladys is survived by her daughter Linda Mihalicz; grandchildren Shelley Holman (Brian Norlin), Sherry (Don) Clarke, and Sean Erlendson (Corrie); great-grandchildren Shane, Taylor, Keaton, Scott, Brielle, Kendall, Sydnie, and Brenna; and nephew Richard George. Besides her beloved husband Frank, Gladys was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Helen Tymchuk, son Blaine Nedd (June 14, 1974); son-in-law Robert Mihalicz; great-grandson Ty; and sister and brother-in-law Florence (Steve) George.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to her favorite charity, the Lethbridge Humane Society, Box 783, Lethbridge, AB T1J 3Z6, because of her love for dogs.
