MR. MORRIS DIXON CRITTENDEN beloved husband of Joyce, passed away, with his family at his side, on Friday, March 7, 2008 after battling with alzheimer, at the age of 83 years.

Morris was born and raised in Quebec. In Quebec Morris owned the ""Crittenden Lodge."" He also served in WWII with the Canadian Army in England and Italy. Morris then moved to Alberta in 1971 where he worked as a mechanic in both dairies here in town and retired in the late 80's.
Morris was a volunteer at Southminster United Church, was a member of the Men's Club and Square and Round Dance Club. He also kept himself busy volunteering at the Soup Kitchen, was a member of the Antique Car Club and a ""gopher"" at the Wood Loft Bedroom Center.

Besides his loving wife Joyce, Morris is survived by his 3 daughters Pauline (Slim) Wilson of Sutton, Que, Barbara (Roger) Brazeau of Collinsville, TX, Norma (Raymond) Ouimette of Sutton, Que; 2 sons Terry (Kay) Crittenden of Lethbridge, Steven (Linda) Crittenden of Lethbridge; 5 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; sister Shirley (Harold) McCloud of Sutton, Que; 5 step-daughters Hope (Roy), Carmen (Conrad), Linda, Kay (Terry), Betty Ann (John); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Morris was predeceased by his parents, an infant son, Leonard; grandson Andrew; step-granddaughter Julie; sister Isabel; son-in-law Freddie; grandson-in-law Peter.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at SOUTHMINSTER UNITED CHURCH, 1011-4th Ave. S., with Reverend Sarah Wallace, officiating, followed with a reception at the Church Hall. Cremation to follow.
