Mrs. Barbara Clifton of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. George Clifton, passed away at Edith Cavell Care Centre on Monday, April 15, 2019 at the age of 91 years.
Barbara was born in Lethbridge to parents Marshall and Mary Livingston at the Galt Hospital on April 26, 1927. She received her education at the Coalhurst School, and then went on to teach in Coalhust for 36 years. She enjoyed teaching, traveling and loved to read.
Barbara is survived by her sons Gordon and (Dale Lynn) Clifton; grandchildren Shaun (JJ) Clifton; great grandchildren Madison and Taylor; and sister in law Alice Livingston.
Besides her loving husband George, Barbara was predeceased by her parents Marshall and Mary Livingston, and brothers Gordon and Laurence Livingston.
Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects at 9:00am on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta. Interment will follow in the Archmount Cemetery.
