MRS. PATRICIA ""PAT"" NICHOLSON CARNINE of Lethbridge, beloved wife of John Carnine, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the St. Michael's Health Center at the age of 81 years.
Pat was born on Friday, July 30, 1926 in Montréal, Quebec, where she was raised and educated. Pat started her career in the banking industry. She came out to Taber in 1980 when she transferred from Superior Propane in Ontario to work in Southern Alberta office. She retired in 1990. Pat loved to volunteer working with the Brownies, a 20 year member of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion #4 and she especially enjoyed archeology completing a 2 year University of Lethbridge course to further her interest. She loved to travel and spent 4 years in Europe with the RCAF.
Besides her loving husband John, Pat is survived by her children Ann Tapp of Ottawa, ON, Gary Michelson of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Jeff and Doug Tapp; two sisters and three brothers.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at the TABER MEMORIAL GARDENS, Taber, AB.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, October 19, 2007 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge, AB.
Memorial donations may be made in Pat's memory to a charity of one's choice.
