MISS. NICOLE IRENE BURTON of Foremost passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the age of 24 years.

Nicole was born September 6, 1982, the first daughter of Randy & Candy Burton of Foremost, AB.

Nicole was one of unbelievable determination which was apparent in everything she did. She graduated from Foremost High School, with honors in 2000. After graduation Nicole, unsure of her career choice, attended a few post secondary institutions. Throughout her journey she held various part time positions at the Foremost Golf Course, AgroPlus, Shoppers Drug Mart in Lethbridge and as a volunteer at the Bethany Care Center in Cochrane as an assistant Occupational Therapist. Nicole was always more than happy to help her parents on their farm and also took every opportunity to become more knowledgeable and helpful on Callum's Ranch. She was so excited when she was finally taught how to ride a horse as well as all the tips and tricks of branding, calving, etc...

Her compassion and care for others lead her to the medical field at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, AB. Nicole was one of 16 applicants accepted into the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program - her dream had finally come true! Once again, Nicole worked her heart out in achieving yet another goal.

Nicole leaves to cherish her soul mate, Callum Sears, whom she loved with all her heart!

She leaves to mourn her parents Randy and Candy; sisters Kelsey and Darcie; her loving grandmother Irene Lynes; uncles Rocky (Donna) and their children Bryce (Ashley), Cole, Tye and Kara, Brent (Deb) and their children Daryl and Spencer; aunt Pat (Ken) Friesen and their children Justin and Jeremy.

The love of her family and friends was always of the utmost importance.

WE ALL MISS YOU SO MUCH AND LOVE YOU DEARLY!

Nicole was predeceased by her grandparents Ted Lynes, Bob and Mary Burton and uncle Kenny Lynes.

Family and Close Friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., on Monday, February 12, 2007 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the (NEW) FOREMOST COMMUNITY HALL, west entrance of the village of Foremost, with LPMiT Marie Barr, officiating. A private family interment is to follow in Foremost Cemetery.
