ELIZABETH MARGARET BOGENDOERFER of Lethbridge, beloved mother of Debra Bogendoerfer, passed away peacefully at the Calgary Foot Hills Hospital after a long battle with M.S. on Friday, August 17, 2007 at the age of 54 years.

Elizabeth had a great love for music, horses, life in general and even ""Elvis"". She enjoyed being with family and at get togethers she was always the centre of attention. She had a great sense of humor and a great out look on life, even though her illness took its toll on her life. Elizabeth didn't give into discouragement very easily and tried to live life to the fullest. She always had a gentle smile for everyone.

Elizabeth was born in Lethbridge and as a young girl grew up in the Sunny Side district. Later met and married Fred and resided in Stirling and were blessed with a daughter, Debra. Her life revolved around her daughter and her family. She later moved to Calgary to be closer to her daughter.

Besides her loving daughter Debra of Calgary, Elizabeth is survived by and left to mourn are her sisters Helen (Tony) Virginillo of Lethbridge and Rosemarie Shumaker of Spirit River, AB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Fred, parents Helen and Joe Nagy and brother Joe Nagy Jr.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

A private family service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Elizabeth Brown officiating. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
