With deep sorrow we announce the passing away of our dear husband, father, and Opa, Jacob Beyer, at the age of 79.

Jacob was born in Veenendaal, the Netherlands, on November 13, 1939, and passed away in Picture Butte, Alberta on February 21, 2019.

 Besides his loving wife, Johanna, he is survived by his children, Jannie and Jan Rijkse, Evert and Jannie Beyer, Gert Beyer, Hennie and Gerard Klok, Ton and Edith Beyer, and his daughter in law Anja Veenvliet.  He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, and his sisters and extended family in the Netherlands. 

Jacob was pre- deceased by his parents, Evert Jan and Hendrika Beyer and his parents in law Gerrit and Janna Hootsen, sister in law Bep Van de Zandschulp and brother-in-law Jan Van Ginkel.

Condolences will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION, 603 3A Street South, Picture Butte, AB.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION, 603, 3A Street South, Picture Butte, AB, Reverend E.C. Adams, officiating.

Interment will follow at the Picture Butte Memorial Cemetery.
