WAYNE BARTLETT beloved husband of Beverley Rose Bartlett of Lethbridge was called home with his loving family by his side on May 19, 2011 at the age of 72 years.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Beverley, their 3 daughters; Cathy McNeal (Steve O'Boyle) & daughter Shannon O'Boyle, Echo (Dale) Pinnegar and children Jesse and Shylo, Bonnie (Jeff) Knecht and sons Brayden and Dawson; his brother Dale Bartlett of Montreal and two nieces Sharon Miller and Susan Racine. He was predeceased by his parents Leslie and Martha Bartlett, sister Iris Canan, brother in-law Pete Canan and a nephew Todd Canan.

Wayne was born in Lethbridge and grew up working with his father and family near Wilson Siding. He attended Wilson White/McNally school and SAIT. After marrying Bev in 1958 it was only natural that they started their own farm. Wayne expanded his farming business to include raising chickens. The poultry business was a huge risk but with his determination and commitment it was a risk that paid off. Wayne's true passion was family and farming. In his retirement he enjoyed travelling; camping, quading and tending to his carefully manicured acres of grass.

Wayne's faith, morals and commitment to family never wavered. He was a role model and protector to many. Wayne was happiest when the family gathered together for celebrations and especially trips away.

Wayne touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. His family's lives will be forever changed without him. If love could have saved him he never would have died.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday May 24, 2011 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at MARTIN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS 610 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Memorial Service will be held on at 2:00 PM on Wednesday May 25, 2011 at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 1614-5 Ave, South, Lethbridge, AB.
