MRS. ADELINE LOWE of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Harry Lowe, passed away at Good Samaritan's West Highlands on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at the age of 92 years.
Adeline was born in Goderich, ON and raised and educated in Winona, ON. She served with the Canadian Forces during WWII, at which time she met and married Harry Lowe. After the war they resided in Lethbridge and in 1961 moved to Edmonton and then back to Lethbridge in 1976. Adeline was a member of the Lethbridge Dominion Rebekah Lodge #41.
Adeline is survived by her children Frances (Bill) Bunting, Butch (Audrey) Lowe, Merl (Cheryl) Lowe, Diane (Don) Workun, Jacqueline (Ron) Saunders, and George (Jennifer) Lowe; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 1 brother; 1 brother-in-law as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
Besides her beloved husband Harry, Adeline was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Alma Davis, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and great-grandson Brett.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, December 30, 2011 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, with Gordon Lowe officiating.
