Salem Abraha 1974 ~ 2013

It is with deep sadness that the family of SALEM ABRAHA announce his passing on Saturday, May 18, 2013 with his wife by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves behind his loving wife and partner of 5 years Gail McKenzie Abraha of Lethbridge, AB; mother Tsehai Abraha of Lethbridge, AB; father Dr. Berhane Abraha of Toronto, ON; brother Lewi of Edmonton, AB; grandmother Hiwet of Seattle,WA and many aunts, uncles and cousins in both the United States and Ethiopia; father and mother-in-law Owen and Paula McKenzie of Portage la Prairie, MB; brother-in-law Adam (Carie) McKenzie of Saskatoon, SK and the extended McKenzie and Chapman relatives in Alberta; as well as many friends across Canada and the globe that he made through his 38 year life journey. Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm at THE GATE, 522-3rd Ave South Lethbridge. Funeral will be on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:30 am at Victory Church, 1 Mile East of Lethbridge on Highway 3. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
