Melissa Emond

Melissa Nicole Emond of Lethbridge, beloved spouse of Wayne Lee Holman, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the age of 34 years.

Melissa was born on November 25, 1988 in Rosetown, Saskatchewan to Tina and Rollie Emond. She graduated from LCI in 2006. She was employed at the Meat Box. Melissa was also a lifeguard and volunteered at SABC. She had also worked as a Care Aid in a senior home. Her love was for animals and any person in need. She loved her family, gardening, camping and cooking. She loved her dogs Chevy and Savanna. Melissa met the love of her life Wayne in 2019 in Lethbridge, Alberta, and in 2020 they were engaged in Waterton, Alberta.

Besides her loving husband Wayne, Melissa is survived by her parents Rollie and Tina Emond; parents in-law David and Nolly Coutts; two sisters Stephanie (Dylan) Girodat, their daughter Wynona, Jenae (Tyler) Emond and their daughters Ellie and Sophia; grandmothers Tine Smienk and Marguerite Emond, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Roger Lobb, officiating. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects 1 hour prior to service time at Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
