George Wilson Obituary

George Albert Wilson of Lethbridge, Alberta was promoted to Glory January 5, 2021 surrounded by family, at the age of 100 years.

George was a respected hard working World War II veteran, and a long-time member of the Lethbridge Royal Canadian Legion. He was a long-time member of the Lethbridge Salvation Army. George’s work was a gas station attendant. He was a member of the Lethbridge Fish and Game, and a councilor to the Junior Forest Wardens.

George was predeceased by his son George; granddaughters Melissa and Brianna Wilson and great granddaughter Joslyn Webb.

George is survived by the love of his life, wife of 72 years Barbara (Pallett) Wilson; brother William (Alf) Johnson; 9 children Barbara and Walter Den Hoed, Mary Wilson (widow of George Wilson jr.) Marie Wilson, Brenda (Wilson) Webb, Ken and Anita (Tina) Wilson, Sandra (Sandy) Wilson, Donna Wilson, Dale and Dawn Wilson, Arnold Wilson; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren
