Mrs. Marie “Maria” Wiese of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Bruno Wiese, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the age of 99 years.

She is survived by her two sons Jerry and Edward; daughter in laws Shelley and Karen and her two grandsons Matthew and Petr.

Maria had a remarkable life. She immigrated from Poland to Canada after World War 2 and together with her husband Bruno, raised her two sons in Lethbridge.

Maria will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Father Derek Remus, Celebrant.
