Abe Wieler of Coaldale, AB, beloved husband of Sheila Wieler, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at the age of 61.
His memory will be cherished by his wife Sheila and his children April (Jason) Dueck and their children Jaden, Emma and Sara, Jodie (Matthew) Cormack, Russell (Ashley) McLeod and their son, Fraser and Conner (Cassandra) McLeod.
Abe was born in Winkler, MB on July 15, 1959 to Peter and Helena Wieler. He was the youngest of 12 and grew up on a farm in Schanzenfeld, MB. He was married to his first wife Leila Wieler in 1980 and they had 2 daughters, April and Jodie.
Abe loved playing hockey and baseball. He ran the bases so fast he earned the nickname ‘Wheels’.
He began a relationship with God in the late 1980’s and often talked about God’s grace. He was passionate about the Celebrate Recovery program, as he wanted to see people set free from their hurts, habits and hang-ups.
Abe worked for Pioneer Grain and then Cargill, moving to different towns to work at the grain elevators in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. In 2006 he started his own company, Integrity Grain, working as a grain marketing consultant in Lethbridge, AB.
Abe and Sheila were married October 10, 2009 in Lethbridge, AB. Abe welcomed Sheila’s sons, Russell and Conner, as they blended their families together. Abe and Sheila moved to Coaldale, AB shortly after.
Abe’s life was about his family, numerous friends and his customers. He loved to host, cooking for people, gardening and riding his Harley. He loved music whether rock, hymns or contemporary worship music.
Besides his wife, 4 children, and 4 grandchildren, Abe is survived by his 5 sisters, 4 brothers as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families who will all miss him so much.
Abe is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Helena Wieler, his sister Mary Thiesen and brother John Wieler, and his pup, Harley.

Interment will follow in the Coaldale Community Cemetery.
