Linquyen “Lin” Hua
1919 ~ 2018
Mrs. Linquyen “Lin” Hua of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Siu Hua passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Legacy Lodge at the age of 98 years.
Lin was born in Guangxi, China in 1919. In 1942, Lin and her husband moved to Hai Phong, Vietnam where they settled roots. She enjoyed cooking for her family and others, caring for her many beloved grandchildren, as well travelling to destinations such as England, Australia, Asia, and the United States.
Lin is survived by her seven daughters Xuong Minh Hua (Siu Phay Tran), Phan Minh Hua (Si Nam Le), Phuong Minh Hua, Le Minh Tran (Lam Tran), Nhip Minh Hua (Quan Van Nguyen), Denh Minh Hua, and Minh Minh Hua (Tray Hong); one son Luc Hua (Tracy Ly); 26 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one sister in China.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, with Wayne Kwan, officiating.
Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
