It is with great sorrow that we announce that Sandra “Sandy” Ann Griffiths (nee Snider) of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 85 years.

Sandy was born in Milden Saskatchewan. At an early age, her family moved and settled in Lethbridge where she attended school, worked, married, raised her family and lived her whole life. She was a loving, attentive mother, an excellent cook and caretaker. She loved her time out with friends and enjoyed upgrading her education in accounting and money management by taking night courses at the college. Sandy was a loyal and dedicated employee at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, working at Lethbridge's north and main branches for 40 years until her retirement.

Sandy is survived by her son Allen Griffiths; daughter Joyce (Young-Dong Han) Griffiths; two grandchildren Jee-Hwan Han and Seung-Hwan Han; brother and sister-in-law, Gordon (Joan) Griffiths of Texas and her sister-in-law Grace Snider of Lethbridge as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Roy; her parents Allen and Helen, and brother Stanley Snider.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Michael's Health Care Centre for all their care and support.

Sandy chose to be remembered privately by her family and friends. The family requests that, in

lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a charity of your choice.
