Johan Froese beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, he was 70 years of age.

Born March 5, 1952, to Bernhard and Sara Froese in Chihuahua, Mexico. Johan was a man with a deep faith in God, who loved his family profoundly.

He is predeceased by his father Bernhard, granddaughter Elora, his brother Peter, and an infant brother, as well as several in-laws.

He is survived by Maria, his dearest wife of 42 years. His children, and grandchildren: daughter Elizabeth (Igor) Castillo and their children Maya, Sophia, Elena, and Lucas; son Anthony (Leanne) Froese and their children Austin and Jessica; son Jamie (Elle) Froese and their children Holden, Stella, and Harrison; and son Richard (Nicole) Froese and their children Isobelle and Owen. 

Besides his wife, children, and grandchildren, Johan is survived by his mother (Sara), five brothers (Ben, Jake, Gerhard, Isaac, and Dave) and six sisters (Kathy, Elizabeth, Anne, Helena, Sara and Susi).

A Viewing will be held at 12:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at MARTIN BROTHERS WATERTON SUITE, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Pastor Dave Peters officiating.  Interment to follow at Royal View Memorial Cemetery, 5920 13 St N, Lethbridge.
