Patrick MacLean Obituary

Mr. Patrick Maclean of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Rosie Maclean passed away unexpectedly at Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 28, 2021 at the age of 65 years.

Patrick was a journeyman carpenter and specialized in cabinetry. When Pat retired, he spent his summers working in Waterton, his happy place. Nothing brought Patrick more joy than sitting in the river looking at the mountains. Patrick spent his childhood summers in Waterton helping his grandfather at the dance hall.

Patrick is survived by his wife Rosie and his daughter Katie, who was his pride and joy.

Besides his beloved wife and daughter, Patrick is survived by his sister Carol (Dave) Cruickshank, his brother Peter Maclean, his sister Kathryn (Nate) Roberts, and his sister Sue (Leah) Maclean and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Patrick was predeceased by his parents Elva June and Lawrence David Maclean

To have known Patrick was to have known love. All Patrick wanted to do was to help others and we are proud to say that even in his final moments he was able to do that through the gift of organ donation.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre. The family also asks that those who loved Pat share any stories or photos that they may have with Rosie and Katie.
