Brenda O'Donnell

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Lee O’Donnell, who passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 28, 2023 in Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 60 years.

Brenda was born on January 19, 1963, to loving parents Ronald George Olshaski (deceased) and Myrna Fay Olshaski. Brenda lived most of her life in Taber and Lethbridge marked by boundless enthusiasm, unwavering courage, and an insatiable appetite for new experiences. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and cherished memories.

Brenda is survived by her mother, Myrna Fay Olshaski; husband Michael Robert O’Donnell; son Alexander Ronald Bosch, daughter Kelly Bridget O’Donnell; brother David Brian Olshaski (Anna) as well as other extended family members.

Throughout her life, Brenda made a significant impact on the lives of those around her. She was known for her kindness and generosity. Her warm smile and open heart made her a beloved figure among family and friends.

In her free time, Brenda enjoyed a myriad of interests, such as cooking, crafting, and traveling. She approached each endeavour with boundless energy and creativity. Brenda excelled in her skills as a homemaker, thriving on having people around the table to feed and entertain. She had a special talent for making everyone who entered her home feel welcome and cherished. Whether it was a comforting meal, a listening ear, or a heartfelt conversation, she always made you feel special. She found solace and joy with her pets, often sharing these moments with her loved ones. Her enthusiasm for life was infectious, and she encouraged others to embrace their passions as well.

Brenda touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on those who knew her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered. May Brenda rest in eternal peace and her spirit continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Brenda with close family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charitable organization of their choosing in Brenda’s memory.

Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel.
