Zofia Zdun

MRS. ZOFIA ZDUN of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Antoni Zdun, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the age of 88 years.

Zofia was born raised and educated in Poland. She married Antoni and had 2 children Fred and Ann and together immigrated to Canada on April 12, 1949. They worked on a sugar beet farm as a family and then Henry was born. She worked for the Purity Dairy and in later years worked for the Palm Dairies until retirement. Zofia loved to walk and socialize with her many friend especially those in the Polish Community. She also believed that she was so lucky to be in Canada.

Zofia is survived by her daughter-in-laws Louise Zdun of Lethbridge and Veronica Zdun of Lethbridge; son Henry (Barb) Zdun of Brooks; special nephew Henry (Jean) Kazala; 9 grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Besides her beloved husband Antoni, Zofia was predeceased by her daughter Ann Graham, son Fred, and granddaughter Arlene Close.

Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 7:00PM on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St. South, Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00PM on Monday, March 12, 2007 at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 318 - 10 St. South, Lethbridge, AB.
