MR. WILLIAM CHALMERS DICK of Lethbridge passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at the age of 94 years.

William was born on October 24, 1913 in Taber, AB to William Chalmers and Isabella Dick. His family emigrated from Glasgow Scotland in 1908. He was educated in Taber and started his life during the Great Depression. William's Careers in life were colorful from tuning engines in the Air Force, working for the various companies and for the Canadian Government Elevator until his retirement in 1978. William was a member of the Canadian Legion. William spent countless hours working in the garden and around the house. He was very creative and made numerous toys for his daughters.

William is survived by his loving wife Lucille of 63 years; daughters Barbara Hillary, Sheila Davids (Ken) and Heather Nugent (Jerry), who were very special to him; grandchildren Catharine MacIntosh, Sean MacIntosh, Ian Davids (Alexis), Rebecca Rogers (Jon), Chad Nugent (Katie), Ian Nugent (Erin), Ryan Nugent and Ross Nugent; he was blessed to have spent time with his great-grandchildren Hunter Nugent, Benjamin Rogers and Emily Rogers. He was predeceased by his parents William and Isabella Dick, his brother Andrew Dick, and his sisters Nellie Wheeler and Christine Keating.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 2, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Deacon Frank Peta officiating. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
