Willard Martin

1944 ~ 2017

Mr. Willard Martin of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the age of 73 years.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine Martin; daughters Tina Forsyth and Kerri Martin; granddaughters Samantha and Alexandra Forsyth; brother Lloyd (Brenda) Martin and sisters Elsie (William) Bauman and Leona (Isaac) Brubacher.

He is predeceased by his parents Lincoln Martin and Elvina Martin (nee Shoemaker); brothers Elmer Martin and Milford Martin and sisters Beatrice Martin and Mildred Bowman.

He was born March 8, 1944 in Woolwich County, Ontario. He was one of eight children and went to school in West Montrose Ontario. After moving to Alberta in 1970 with his best friend Dave Bauman, he worked for Allied Equipment Ltd, buying the company in 1981. Allied Equipment Ltd. was sold in 2000 at which point he and his wife opened Westside Storage which was recently sold.

Willard’s favorite place was at the family cabin on the Flathead Lake in Montana. He also enjoyed golf, camping and travelling to various destinations on twelve different cruises.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, March 24 at CHRIST TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 416- 12 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta with Reverend Olivier Ravelojaona presiding.
