MRS. DENA DYKSHOORN (nee Jansen), beloved wife of the late Dick Dykshoorn, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the age of 88, with her family at her side.

Dena is survived by daughters Marion (Bryan) Wilde and their children Chris and Melissa; Leona (Glenn) and their children Angela (Mike) Faber and Laura-May; Wanda (Gary) Williams; and son Ron (Lorinda) Dykshoorn and their daughter Shellie (Jerry) Wolverton and their children Jaida and Kayleigh, son Chet (Tania) and their daughter Maddyson; daughters Beckie and Kristy and son Sam.

She is survived by sisters Marie Jansen and Gert DeJong and brothers Tony (Henrietta) Jansen and Herman (Leida) Jansen; sisters-in-law Jenny, Marie and Jacquie Jansen. She was predeceased by infant son Peter, son-in-law Tony Haze, siblings Steven, Alice, Henk, Pat, John and Len.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 7:00PM to 9:00PM on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at HIGHFIELD CEMETERY, Burdett, Alberta. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 260 McGill Blvd. West, Lethbridge, Alberta.
