In the early hours of December 19, 2023, our dearest Mother, and Grandmother went into the arms of her loving Saviour with her family by her side.

Grandma was born in Pincher Creek, Alberta to Paul and Barbara Gross on March 23, 1941. She was the third sibling in a family of 13 children.

On September 29, 1963, she married her beloved husband Paul Walter from West Rayley Colony, and together they had a family of 3 boys. In 1971 they relocated to Goldridge (Turin) Colony, 13 years later they moved to their home at Lomond Colony.

There she spent many happy years serving her community and raising her family in the fear of the Lord. She worked alongside her husband for many years, helping in his role of Gardener and Steward.

Her family grew up listening to her sweet voice singing praises to her Lord and teaching them strong biblical values. She suffered much in her later years, but always had a positive attitude and was a true example of carrying her cross geduldiglich.

Our grandma found joy in the simple things in life, visits from friends, family and grandchildren, or a phone call always brightened her day.

She will be greatly missed by her children Jerry (Bertha), Peter (Rosa), Frank (Barbara Ann); 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 sisters; 9 brothers and lots of family and friends.

Waiting to meet her is her beloved husband Paul, her Mother and Father; as well as many other loved ones.
