MR. WLADYSLAW ""WALTER"" WOJTACZKA of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Regina Wojtaczka, passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the age of 61 years.
Walter was born in Klodzko, Poland on October 9, 1950. He married the love of his life on April 28, 1973. He left his beloved Poland for freedom and greater opportunity in 1983 and settled in the Crowsnest Pass. Walter, as he was known to his friends, enjoyed traveling, the mountains, hockey and above all spending time with his beloved family.
Besides his loving wife Regina, Wladyslaw is survived by his daughters Anna (Derek) Ringguth and Jessica (Kelly) Moon; son Radoslaw Wojtaczka; grandchildren Aurora, Alexander and Jarred Ringguth; sister Nina Piwon; brother Piotr Wojtaczka and Josef Wojtaczka; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Wladyslaw was predeceased by his parents Aniela and Wladyslaw.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 - 12th Avenue South, Lethbridge.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:00pm on Friday, December 23, 2011 at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, with Father John Kohler celebrant.
