GORDON F. WAGNER of Lethbridge, beloved husband of June Wagner, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2009 at the age of 73 years.
Gordon was born to Fredrick and Elva Amelia Wagner in Cardston on September 17, 1935. Being 13 lbs. at birth he grew to 6'3"" and a very strong man. Gordon and his father farmed in the Woolford area until the land was sold in March of 1974.
A new home was built in Cardston and his children attended school there. Before retirement to Lethbridge, Gordie worked for several farmers doing what he loved most, tilling the soil. He also enjoyed working at Temple City Tire with Ross Reid and Tom Traweek. Fishing on Duck Lake was his ultimate joy.
Gordon is survived by his daughter Heather (Marvin) Gunderson, and sons; Kendall (Brenda) Cameron, Derrick (Miriam), and Dale (Marilyn), as well as grandchildren; Lyndsey and Ryan Wagner, Angelia and Dylan Wagner, Arik, Alex and Aidan Wagner, and great-grandchildren Aisley and Corbin.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents Fredrick Wagner and Elva Amelia Wagner; sister Deloris Aldridge; and step-brother Lloyd Zeiman.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Gordie would ask us to ""look out for our families and friends. Also, be kind to all God's creatures.""
Following Gordon's wishes there will be no service.
