Vera Matolsci

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Vera Matolsci on Monday, December 8, 2008 at the age of 85 years.

She will lovingly be remembered by her family Marj (Gary) Treiber, Garry (Frances) Matolsci and Donna Matolsci. Also mourning are her grandchildren Michella (Cam) Christianson, Eric and Sarah Matolsci. Vera was predeceased by her husband Garry in October of 2006.

Vera was born in Hungary and came to Canada as a young girl, residing in the Taber area until her marriage in 1942. All those who knew Vera, knew she had a ""green thumb"". She took great pride in both her flower and vegetable gardens, garnering many awards and ribbons as a member of the Lethbridge Horticultural Society.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, on Friday, December 12, 2008, at the COALDALE UNITED CHURCH, 2022 18 St., Coaldale, AB, with Reverend Bob Wallace officiating. Interment to follow in the Coaldale Community Cemetery.
