Vera Fazio 1923 ~ 2014 Mrs. Vera Fazio of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Arthur Fazio, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Vera lived in Lethbridge her entire life. She loved to go out for a meal, and follow it up with a good game of bridge. She was a member of the Lethbridge Bridge Club, LSCO, and Legion. She was a faithful member of St. Augustine's Church and the Evening group. She enjoyed hosting teas and dinners and appreciating the company of family and friends. She was blessed with many dear friends throughout her life. She bowled with the same team for several years. Vera also loved to go to the Girl Guide Camp. In her later years, she worked at the Tea Room and U of L daycare. She met and enjoyed many interesting people in her time there. Vera had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. Vera is survived by her daughter Chris (Dennis) Burton of Lethbridge; granddaughters Bev and Tracy Burton of Pincher Creek, of whom she was very proud; brother Norman (Anne) Fullylove, and Nicola, of Sherwood Park. Besides her loving husband Arthur, Vera was predeceased by her parents Ernest & Lena Fullylove; sister Frances; and brother Ed (Bud). The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Fairmont for their kind and compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at ST. AUGUSTINE'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411-11 St. S., Lethbridge, AB, with Canon Allan McCuaig, officiating.
