Passed away peacefully, at the age of 83 years after a short illness on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. MRS. EILEEN URVOLD of Lethbridge, formerly of Nobleford, Alberta.

Eileen was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, daughter of Elsie and Arthur Keays on November 14, 1927. After growing up in Maple Creek, Eileen settled in Nobleford in September of 1947 for her first year of teaching, and married Harold in 1949. They lived in Nobleford for 53 years. During that time Eileen raised four children, enjoyed working at Woodwards and served nearly 2 decades as a School Trustee for the County of Lethbridge. Eileen also enjoyed many years in the community in UCW, Nobleford Seniors and Alberta Roamers.

Eileen is survived by 3 daughters Janice (Bill) Johnson and their daughter Jennifer of Calgary, Susan (Dennis) Nosyk and their sons Erik (Jackie) and Daniel of Leduc, Alberta, Leslie (Norm) Ortman and children Lynsey (Shane) and Ryan of Erskine, Alberta; son Ian (Sharon) Urvold and their children Jana, Kyle, and Kurk of Leduc, Alberta; brother Leonard Keays of Medicine Hat; brother-in-law Ed Sanderson of Lethbridge; sister-in-law Hazel Gunderson of Kamloops, British Columbia; 2 great-grandsons as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Eileen was predeceased by her husband Harold; parents Elsie and Arthur Keays and sister Erla Sanderson of Lethbridge.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Trevor Potter, officiating.
