ROGER WILLIAM TURNER passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre in Lethbridge on Sunday, September 21st, 2008 at the age of 90 years.

Roger was born on April 16, 1918 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Roger finished his education in Indian Head, Saskatchewan. He served in the RCAF in Wireless Communications during WWII. In 1948 Roger joined the Department of Transport as a meteorological technician, serving in places such as Aklavik, Port Hardy, Fort Smith, Regina, Edmonton, and Pincher Creek. After retirement Roger eventually moved to Lethbridge in 1996. Roger is predeceased by his first wife Florence May (Smiley), his second wife Emma (nee Muldoon) and sister Janet Turner. He is survived by his children Wendy (Jim) Monti, Sharon (Eugene) Rejman and John Turner, grandchildren Matthew Monti, Joseph (Cheryl) Monti, Shauna (Daryl) Remin, Karl (Lyndsey) Rejman, Kevin and Robert Turner and six great grandchildren.

In accordance with Roger's wishes, a private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to make a donation to the charity of their choice.
