Toni Cossinosich

MR. ANTONIO ""TONI"" COSSINOSICH of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Isabella Cossinosich, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, December 28, 2007 at the age of 92 years.

Toni was born in Villanova di Parenzo, Prv, di Pola Italia. He came to Canada with his whole family in October of 1958 and began work doing various hard laboring jobs for many different construction companies until working with CPR for about 4 years. He then worked at Ace building supplies, in the truss department until retiring in 1980. Toni was a long time member of the Italian Canadian Club. He also loved gardening and sharing his harvest with his many friends and families.

Toni is survived by his children Enrica (Gerrardo ""Jerry"") Cattoni, Giuliana ""Julie"" (Andrea ""Andy"") Suriano all of Lethbridge; grandchildren Guido (Shannon) Cattoni of Calgary, Mario Cattoni of Calgary, Rocco (Marilou) Suriano of Lethbridge, James (Danielle) Suriano of San Diego, Anthony (Alyssa) Suriano of San Diego, Liana Johanson of Kamloops, Robbie (Erica) Kroeker of Kamloops, Linda (Ian) Goldney of Kamloops and Lora Cossinosich of Surrey, BC; great-grandchildren Holden, Taite, Giulia, Andrew, Matthew, Taylor, Geena, Tara, Brian, Alana, Chad, Alyssa, Brody, Matteo, Romeo; common law daughter-in-law Brenda Filgas and her daughter Patricia Filgas and her son Paolo.

Besides his loving wife Isabella, Toni was predeceased by his parents Maria and Antonio; son Giuseppe (Joe) Cossinosich and sister Elizabetta Perusco.

Prayers will be held at 7PM on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 318-10th St. S., with Father Raul Hernandez, celebrant. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
