Tina Koetse

JANTINE (TINA) KOETSE nee Konynenbelt, passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Health Care Centre on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the age of 86 years.

Born June 16, 1923 in Nijverdal, Netherlands, she married the love of her life Joe Koetse on June 5, 1948 in Holland. Soon after they immigrated to Canada and settled in the Nobleford area. She dedicated herself to raising her 3 boys and being a helpmate to her loving husband. She was a faithful member of the Nobleford Christian Reform Church.

She leaves to mourn 2 sons Jim (Edna) of Spiritwood, SK, and Harvey (Gloria) of Lethbridge; 6 grandchildren Kyle, Pam, Lisa, Mark, Kevin and Shawn; and 5 great-grandchildren, along with one brother Marinus (Janny) Konynenbelt of Rocky Mountain House.

Tina was predeceased by her husband Joe; son Murray; and infant grandson; as well as her brother Hans Konynenbelt, sister Ada Konynenbelt; along with several brothers and sisters who remained in the Netherlands.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects at 7:00pm, on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at the CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH OF NOBLEFORD, 522 Highway Avenue, Nobleford, Alberta. Interment will follow in the Monarch/Nobleford Cemetery.
