Mrs. Agnes Thomsen of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Kristian Thomsen passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the age of 90 years.
Agnes and her family immigrated to Canada from Denmark in 1956. They first moved to Ontario, then worked their way west across Canada, and settled in the Lower Mainland of B.C where they lived from 1961 to 1987. From there, they retired to Nobleford, Alberta where they stayed until 2011, then finally made their way to Lethbridge.
Agnes is survived by her 8 children – 5 daughters, and 3 sons, Karen (Bill) Walton, Jane (Alex) Franz, Hanne, Gert (Carol), Kaj (Wynn), Aase, Chris (Sharon), and Annette (Don); 15 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Agnes’ Life will be held at a later date.
