Thomas Lawrence

THOMAS ""TOM"" LAWRENCE of Raymond, Alberta, beloved husband of Edna Siemens, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the age of 56 years.

Tom was born in Winnipeg, MB to Emile and Elizabeth (Guiboche) Lawrence.

Tom was an avid sportsman. He excelled in every sport from a young age until present, including baseball, hockey and his very favorite..golf. He has won many trophies in all sports he has participated in. Tom and Edna loved travelling, and have travelled all over Canada, United States and Mexico together, trying out every golf course along the way.

Besides his loving wife Edna, Tom is survived by his sisters Gisele (Jim) Hawkins, Doreen McCurdy and Lorraine (Carol) Laramee; brothers Ronald (Shirley) Lawrence and Leonard (Sharon) Lawrence; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Tom was predeceased by his parents Emile and Elizabeth (Guiboche) Lawrence, step-son Michael Orobko, step-daughter Marcia Orobko and brother Robert Lawrence.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM, on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at WESTERN PLAINS MENNONITE CHURCH, 343S. 300E, Raymond, AB, with Pastor John Heatwole officiating.
