It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Thomas James Nixey on October 27, 2026, at the age of 33 years.
He is survived by his daughter Olivia Nixey, mother Elizabeth Stewart, father Shayne (Denise) Nixey, and brother Bryan (Brianna) Alexander; he was predeceased by his infant son.
Thomas, born in Lethbridge, attended Lethbridge Polytechnic, where he studied culinary arts and was a chef by trade, as cooking was his passion.
As a child he loved the outdoors, camping, soccer, skateboarding, motorcycles, video games, basketball, collecting Pokémon, and just hanging out with his friends. His greatest joy was his beautiful daughter Olivia, and his favorite thing to do was spending time with her, whether it was playing Mario Kart, watching Spider-Man, taking her on new adventures around town or teaching her how to wrestle.
