THEODOOR (TED) MEURS, age 82, died in hospital on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Lethbridge.
He was born in Gendt, the Netherlands on April 11th, 1929, the eldest child of a large farm family. He immigrated to Canada in 1957, settling in the Lethbridge area.
He is survived by Liz Karbashewski, her husband Dave and their children Jessica, Stephanie and Michelle; Chris (David) Meurs; and Peter Meurs, his wife Wendy and their children Warren, Andrew and Julianna.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 11:00 am at OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405-12th Ave. South, Lethbridge.
