It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Terry Allan Westergreen on July 3, 2026, at the age of 75.
Terry passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and the love of those who knew him. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness, quiet strength, and generous spirit touched the lives of many.
Terry was known throughout his life for his strong work ethic and dedication. He began his career at Swifts Meat Packers, where he developed the dependable, hardworking nature that would define him. He later spent many years as a transport truck driver and also took pride in owning and operating a sign shop, where his craftsmanship reflected the care he put into everything he did.
Outside of work, Terry found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends, taking comfort in nature’s simple pleasures. At home, he shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Missy, whose companionship brought him comfort and joy.
Terry will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his sense of humor, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his ability to make those around him feel welcome.
He is lovingly remembered by his ex-wife, Wendy Westergreen; his son, Chris Westergreen, and his partner, Tiffany Coates; his daughter, Cindy Kinakin, and her husband, Cory Kinakin; his cherished grandchildren, Joseph Westergreen, Samantha Westergreen, Mirisha Westergreen, Kaiden Westergreen, Jacey Westergreen, Brianna Kinakin, Logan Kinakin, and Emily Kinakin; his treasured great-grandchild, Koda
Westergreen; his sisters, Linda Pinkerton and Debbie Westergreen; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Terry was predeceased by his beloved parents, Willis Westergreen and Georgia Westergreen.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing Terry is at peace. His memory will live on in every cast of a fishing line, every campfire shared, every journey down an open highway, and in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at HONKERS PUB & EATERY, 2808 5 Ave N, Lethbridge, AB.
