Taylor Peter

PETER TAYLOR of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Tedde Taylor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the age of 77 years.

""Pete the Postie"", was born on October 22, 1931 in Toronto. He was educated at Saint Michael's College in Toronto where he played goaltender on the hockey-team. He moved out west for a summer job in 1950 where he met his wife Tedde. Peter worked for 20 years as a postal carrier in Lethbridge, a job he loved despite the wind. Peter also served as a captain in the Military Reserve Artillery Units based in both Calgary and Lethbridge and was a long time member of the Lethbridge Legion.

Besides his loving wife Tedde, Peter is survived by his daughter Pat, son Richard, grandchildren Quinn, Spencer, Christopher, and Scott, sister Mary, brother Richard, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, November 3, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
