Stewart Creighton

MR. STEWART CREIGHTON of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Muriel Creighton, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on October 26, 2009 at the age of 91 years.

Stew was born in Edmonton, AB on October 14, 1918. He was the only son of Harvey Stewart Creighton and Inez May Oium. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters; Florence May and Doris, his first wife Marjorie Collinson, his son Stewart Rayston and a grandson, Todd Tenzer.

Stew is survived by his wife Muriel, his daughter Judith Tenzer, his son Richard (Kim) Creighton, and step children; Barbara (Roy) Pierson, Carvil (Linda) Moorey, Brenda (Murray) Kunz, 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Stew went to school in Winnipeg, joined the Air Force in 1940, and later worked with a soft drink company. In his retirement years he camp sat at logging camps on the west coast. He loved to camp and go fishing.
