Steve Mrazek

MR. STEVE MRAZEK of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Emily Mrazek, passed away suddenly on February 23, 2010 at the age of 83 years.

Steve was born in Czechoslovakia on January 5, 1927, and he lived in Lethbridge, Alberta until the time of his passing. He was a simple man who loved reading, gardening and spending time with his friends, family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Everyone who knew Steve, knew him as gruff on the exterior, but a loving and caring man on the inside, who always cracked a joke and always had time to stop and chat awhile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Steve is survived by his 3 daughters; Sandra Bosnjak (Roger) of Lethbridge, Alberta, Linda Hudson of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Debbie Lewis of Surrey, BC, 2 sons; Leonard (Jenn) Mrazek of Brooks, Alberta, and Ken (Katae) Mrazek of Thailand, along with his grandchildren Carolyn Hudson (Danny Burrows), their daughter Hailey Hudson Burrows of Nanton, AB, Jennifer (Brad) Barton and their son Blake of Lethbridge, Kevin Bosnjak (Meigan) and his children Colton, Kinsey, Parker and Mason of Lethbridge, Justin Mrazek of Brooks, AB, Jessica and Johnathan Mrazek of Ontario, and Doug Rozak of Ontario. He is also survived by his sister Yarmila Dvorak, his brother Frank Mrazek of Edmonton, as well as numerous nephews and nieces and their families.

Besides his loving wife Emily Mrazek, Steve was predeceased by his parents Stepan and Marie Mrazek and great-granddaughter Jasmine Hudson-Burrows.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 5, 2010 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.
