Stephen was born in Lethbridge on October 13, 1977. He was an active and loving child. He enjoyed Cubs as a youngster. One of his great passions was baseball and he played on many all-star teams and LCI Rams high school teams. Another passion was being a voracious reader with a wide range of interests. As an adult, he received his business management diploma from Lethbridge Community College. He worked briefly in Calgary and then spent five years working in England. Returning from England, Stephen got his Class I Licence and took up the profession of driving, taking his trucks all over Alberta, British Columbia, and the northwestern United States for the last five years. He loved driving his ""big rigs"" and called it the greatest video game there was! Sadly, Stephen left us too soon on December 23, 2013. He will be forever remembered in our hearts and will live on in our memories. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge, with Canon Erin Philips officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Operation Eyesight, 4 Parkdale Crescent NW Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T2N 3T8. 403-283-6323.
