MR. STANLEY MALAWSKI of Coaldale, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Malawski, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2008 at the age of 89 years.
Originally from Russia he settled in Coaldale with his small family. For years he worked at the Lethbridge Agriculture Research Station and pursued his ardent interest in chess, ultra-marathons and Russian Folk music.
He leaves his wife Mary, daughter Anna Malawski, her husband Ted Gulliver and grandchildren Alexandra, Catherine, Gregory and Matthew Gulliver.
The family would like to thank the Staff at St. Michael's Health Centre for the care given to their husband and father Stanley.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at ASSUMPTION RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH, 9 Ave N, Lethbridge. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
