Stanley Banbur

MR. STANLEY JOSEPH BANBUR of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Pat Banbur, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the age of 75 years.

Stan was born on February 4, 1933, in Diamond City, Alberta to Victor and Mary Banbur. He attended school in Barhill and later farmed in both Iron Springs and Picture Butte. In 1976 Stan started his excavating company ""Banbur's Contracting"" serving Picture Butte and area and retired in 1990. Stan enjoyed singing and playing the guitar, camping, fishing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his loving wife, Pat, Stanley is survived by his children Sue Balch, Peggy (Rob), Vic (Agi), Shelly (Murray); 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister Mary Timko; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Stanley was predeceased by his parents Victor and Mary Banbur and brother Kaz Banbur.

A Visitation will be held from 7:00PM to 8:00PM, on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00PM, on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge, AB.
