CHRISTA NICOLE SPAHMANN, beloved daughter of Peter and Jean Spahmann, peacefully passed away on April 8, 2010 at the age of 25 years.

She is survived by her twin sister Sabina, parents Peter and Jean, grandfathers Don Abrams of Verona, Ontario, Rudi Spahmann of Summerland, BC, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and relatives.

Christa was born on October 8, 1984, alongside her twin sister, in Watson Lake, Yukon. After moving to Coaldale, AB in 1993 with her family, she attended Kate Andrews High School and graduated in June of 2002. She received a full golf scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in general biology on May 20, 2006.

Since University, Christa has lived a rich life traveling, meeting and working with wonderful people and enjoying a healthy active lifestyle. She will be sadly missed by all those she touched on her adventure through life.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at SOUTHMINSTER UNITED CHURCH, 1011 - 4 Ave South, Lethbridge, with Dale Friesen and Mark Dyck officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the Spahmann family would like to take donations in Christa's name for a scholarship annually given to an Albertan girl to pursue her athletic and academic dreams at a post-secondary institution.
