Mrs. Sophie Supranow of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Daniel Supranow, passed away at Good Samaritans West Highlands on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the age of 103 years.
Sophie was born on September 24, 1919, in Klingenstein, Germany to parents Adolf Schilling and Walburga Graf. She immigrated to Canada in 1950, and eventually settled in Lethbridge. She worked as a sugar beet labourer and later at Parks Drycleaners. She enjoyed camping in Waterton, Radium, Penticton and Banff.
Besides her loving daughter Renate, Sophie is survived by her four grandchildren Susan Walser, Robert, Michael and David Walser; great grandchildren Jasmine, Ryan, Richard Vanderwal (Kristen), Adam, Christopher Vanderwal, Matthew, Sarah, Pamela, Mitch, Taylor and McKenzie; great great grandchildren Treyton, Linnea, Zachary, Linus, Dashell and Charolette Vanderwal and their families.
A private family Graveside Service will be held.
