Shirley Vandevelde

With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother Shirley Deane Georgina Vandevelde, beloved wife of the late Fred Vandevelde, and surviving beloved husband Eldon Conquergood of Bow Island.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her children Barry (Phyllis), Valerie (John), Susan, Carol (Bill), Janice (Randy), Michael (Jill), step-daughters Pauline (Bryan), Belinda (Kevin), Nanny to 12 and Great Nanny to 22 children, dear sister to Tom, Fred, Ken, Joyce, and June.

Words cannot express our thanks to the Bow Island Health Care Centre, who went above and beyond with the loving and compassionate care and support of our Mom and families in her last few days.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at St. Andrew's United Church in Bow Island.
