Shawn Sibbet 1985 ~ 2014 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shawn Tylor Sibbet. Shawn was born on July 10, 1985 and died at home on February 4, 2014. Shawn was 28 years old. In his short time on this earth, Shawn found love with his partner, Chris Dillabough, and he was much loved by his family and many friends who now mourn his passing. Shawn is lovingly remembered by his partner, Chris Dillabough; his sister, Natacha (Gordon Kindt) Sibbet; his niece, Savanah; his brother, Brandon Nyquist; his grandmother, Marolyn Crighton; his aunts, uncles and cousins; and by his childhood friend, Jonathon Grant. Shawn was predeceased by his mother, Megan Crighton; his father, Gordon Sibbet; and his grandfather, Tom Crighton. A Celebration of Shawn's life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 125 - 13th Street North, Lethbridge, AB. A graveside service will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
